Applications
- Size classification of PET flakes
- Fines separation
- Oversized flake removal
- Recycled PET flake screening
- Preparation for downstream washing, drying and colour sorting
- Multi-fraction separation across several screening stages
Why It Matters
Recycled PET flakes and textile fiber streams arrive mixed with fines, oversized flakes, film and other contaminants — and any of that carried forward can jam downstream washing and extrusion equipment or show up as defects in the recycled resin or fiber.
Screening is one stage of the broader recycling process — it doesn't replace washing, drying, colour sorting or contaminant separation, but it removes fines and oversized material so those downstream steps run more consistently and the line keeps up with throughput.
Our vibro screens handle size classification of PET flakes, fines separation, oversized flake removal, and multi-fraction separation across several screening stages, extending the same capability to recycled fiber and textile waste streams.
Recycled flake and fiber streams are abrasive on screen decks, so we specify wear-resistant mesh and reinforced screen rings to hold tolerances through continuous, high-throughput recycling-line duty.
